Jennifer Paulsen

Jennifer is the Chief Accounting Officer at Edgewater Midstream, where she leads the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. With over 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry, Jennifer brings a proven track record of driving financial integrity, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. A Certified Public Accountant, Jennifer began her career at a Big Four accounting firm, where she spent a decade serving a diverse portfolio of public and private clients across the midstream and real estate sectors. In 2011, she transitioned into the corporate midstream industry, holding key financial leadership roles at Kinder Morgan and Boardwalk Pipeline Partners. During this time, she played an instrumental role in the industry-wide adoption of new accounting standards related to revenue recognition and lease accounting, collaborating with a consortium of over 40 oil and gas companies. In 2019, Jennifer joined Easton Energy as Chief Accounting Officer, where she led transformative initiatives in financial systems, audit readiness, and ERP implementation for the private equity-backed startup. Her collaborative leadership style, technical expertise, and sharp attention to detail have made her a trusted advisor in navigating complex financial transactions, including acquisitions, capital markets activities, and regulatory compliance.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from San Diego State University, graduating magna cum laude with business honors. Outside the office, she enjoys baseball, musical theatre, skiing, and recharging in the mountain air.
